Jeff Norton is the
founder of UniServ. He began pursuing the concept of value added
“bundled services” in the telecommunications industry over
twenty-five years ago. By the early 1990’s, Jeff founded
Worldwide MobileCom and became one of the first and largest
wireless resellers in the Southeastern United States. Over the
next five years, he and his partners organically grew the company
to eight thousand active subscribers before merging with a
publicly traded European telecom company.
In 1999, Jeff
co-founded NetCom International, a company specializing in VOIP
telecom services in emerging markets overseas. With offices in
the United States and Tel Aviv, NetCom had operations throughout
the Caribbean, Central and South America, Eastern Europe and the
Middle East. Jeff spent much of his time over the few years
traveling extensively throughout the underdeveloped world,
cultivating telecom projects to satisfy evolving customer
demands. It was this experience that galvanized his desire
to launch UniServ back in the United States, modeled after his
experience in the telecom arena.
Over the past several
years, Jeff has acquired numerous service companies under the
UniServ brand, consolidating them into a single “one-stop-shop”
home services provider. Utilizing the consumer driven
telecommunications industry as a blueprint, this combination of
acquisitions, organic growth, and cross marketing has become a
working model for a new type of service business. Ultimately,
Jeff and his UniServ partners want to bring the advantages of
brand recognition on a nationwide scale to this “roll-up” of home
services which are so highly fragmented and unprofessional at
present.

In his most recent position, Chip served as the President

School renamed their football field Prime management field to
honor chip and the company for their commitment to renovating the
facility and making the dreams of students come
true.

Bret Moss, Vice President of Operations, has been a
full time resident in South Florida for over 40 years and over 30
years in service related businesses. Started working in the
Automotive Industry at the age of 17. Quickly rose to be a shop
foreman in the largest Chevrolet Dealership in the South Florida
area. Thru this experience gathered and honed many problem
solving and customer service skills developed by General
Motors. After 12 years formed and ran a High Performance
custom auto repair shop and was a technical consultation for the
NASCAR series in evaluating performance of different makes. Spent
four years in the role as a consultant for many automotive
dealerships in the South Florida area. I was looking for a
different challenge after 30 years in the automotive business.
This is what brought me around to the pool service industry. I
owned and operated my own pool service business, using the same
skills and personal attention to customer satisfaction from my
earlier experiences. I am married and have a nine-year-old child.
I am a former Olympic class catamaran sailor and still
actively race in a large international class. The same attention
to detail and follow thru that I apply in business has allowed me
to maintain a top ten ranking in the US and a top fifty ranking
worldwide. Thru my sailing I am the sailor athlete representive
for the South Florida area in the National Hospice Alliance. This
is a valuable cause that has helped raise large amounts of money
for this worthwhile cause.
At Uniserv I am tasked with ensuring that the customer is
properly serviced in an efficient and professional manner. All
aspects of service and repairs will get my personal attention as
well as processes to keep the work flowing. I look forward to
this new challenge and look forward to our continued success.
